Nino Felbab is a professional clarinetist and clarinet teacher born and raised in Serbia. He is currently living and working in Norway. He has been studying in Serbia, Norway and Switzerland under the guidance of some of the most prominent clarinet teachers such as Francois Benda, Leif Arne Pedersen, Håkon Vestly and Ante Grgin.
Important part of his professional development were numerous master classes with some of the most important clarinetists of the world's musical scene. Nino learned from Yehuda Gilad, Mate Bekavac, Aleksandar Tasic, David Griffiths, Andreas Sundén, Björn Nyman, Francois Benda, Martin Kuuskman and Martin Fröst. He is a prize winner and finalist of numerous prestigious musical competitions in Serbia and abroad such as International competitions “Petar Konjovic” (Serbia), “Davorin Jenko” (Serbia), “Ohrid Pearls” (Macedonia), Norwegian Academy of Music chamber music competition and many more.
He is an active solo and chamber musician with numerous performances and concerts across the globe. As a guest musician he often shares the stage with Stavanger Symphony Orchestra, Norwegian Radio Orchestra (KORK), Music in Nordland chamber ensemble and Arktisk Sinfonietta. He performed on many festivals in Norway and abroad such as Chamber Music Festival in Oudewater (Netherland), Musikkfestuka Festival in Bodø (Norway), Crusell Music Festival in Finland and others.
